The app

This app is how Loud and Heavy Booking, its agents, the acts it books and the venues it books them into, work out shows. You need to be 18 or older to have an account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your login.

Offers and shows

An offer is not a booked show until the act says yes and the venue confirms. Details can change; the app shows the latest. A booking in the app is how we all keep track, and any separate written agreement for a show still applies.

Commission, for acts

Loud and Heavy Booking takes 10% of what an act is really paid for a show it booked, due 7 days after the show, and 10% of any cancellation fee the act collects. Merch and tips are never included. Shows at a venue that pays us directly on a retainer carry no commission, and where a venue has agreed to pay the 10% for the act, the venue is billed and the act owes nothing. Anything different is agreed in writing with Grant.

What you put in

You keep what you upload: photos, logos, stage plots, video links. You let us use them to book and promote your shows, on flyers, events and our site. Only upload what you have the right to share. No hateful, illegal or misleading posts, including on the work-for-hire board; we remove them.

What we cannot promise

We work hard to book good shows, but we cannot promise any number of shows, turnout, or pay, or that a venue or act will keep their word. The app is offered as it is; we fix problems as fast as we can but cannot promise it is never down.

To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim about the app is limited to the commission you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Ending

You can close your account any time by asking us. We can switch an account off for breaking these terms or for unpaid commission, as our commission policy explains.

Law

These terms follow Texas law, and disputes go to the courts of Potter County, Texas, or small claims court.

Changes

If these terms change, we show the new version and ask you to agree again. See also our privacy notice.
