Privacy notice

What we collect

• Your login: name, email, cell number if you give it, and a scrambled copy of your password.
• For acts: the details you or your agent enter, such as pay ranges, set lengths, links, photos, stage plots, input lists and the band leader’s contact.
• For venues: the room’s details, photos, music nights, typical pay and a contact person.
• Shows: dates, times, pay, who played, who booked it, flyers, and the commission owed and paid.
• When you agree to these terms or to texts, we keep when, which version, and the internet address it came from, as proof of that agreement.
• Fans: who you follow, and whether you want emails.
• Website forms: what you send through the contact form or the Get featured form (name, email, phone, your band, links and what you want to promote), and the internet address it came from, to stop spam. Only Grant and our blog writers see a feature request.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information, or share it for anyone else’s advertising.
• We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. No tracking pixels, no ad networks, no session recording.
• Agents do not see a band leader’s private contact details or a venue’s unless they work that venue.

Who sees what

People on a show see what they need to play it: the act sees the venue, times and pay; the venue sees the act and the times; our designer sees what goes on the flyer. Upcoming public shows (act, venue, date, time) are listed publicly. Private events never are.

We use a hosting company to run the app and store files, and an email service to send notices. If you join our email list, your email goes to our email list tool, where you can unsubscribe with one press.

Texts

We only text you if you tick the box for it. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Saying yes to texts is never a condition of anything.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. Show and payment records are kept after that, because they are business records. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your personal details and keep only what the law or our books require.

Your choices

You can see, fix, or ask us to delete your information at any time. Most of it you can change yourself on your account and act or venue pages. For the rest, contact us below. We answer within 10 business days.

Children

Accounts are for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Acts may tell us a member is under 21 so we book them only where they are allowed.

Keeping it safe

Passwords are stored scrambled, never readable. Connections are encrypted. Only the people who need a record can open it. If something goes wrong with your information, we will tell you as Texas law requires.
